My SR 125 has just been sat for a year in the garden, although the battery is recording as fully charged the starter motor is't turning, it's just making a bell buzzing noise. I'm thinking the sarter motor is seized, so have tried to jump start it of Fazer 1000 with no result. Any ideas on how to get it started or is it just b*ggered?

Cheers C.

Hi everyone,

After bashing the starter motor to see if there was a stuck solenoid, simply turns out the battery had had it. Got a new one and so far so good.

Yeah apparently it's not just British cars that run better after a good whack with a hammer! ;)
