pbaszxs400
Is there anything available for lowering an 81 xs400? A while ago there was a kit we used for old Hondas that relocated the shock mount further rearward on the swingarm. Does this exist for the yamahas?\

Moderator drewpy Posted March 9, 2008 Moderator Share Posted March 9, 2008 Or ride in a groove on the road If you have a custom model, they have longer shocks as they have a 16" rear wheel. you would have to use a standard front end as well to balance the bike (or drop them through the top tree!! 78special
You can lower it yourself take the front forks apart and compress the springs inside each fork and put back together. You will need someone to help you though. We did that on my sisters fatboy.
