Posted February 19, 200817 yr hi, i've just brought an fzr600 on a g plate with a full r6 kit. i got it for £400 with 10 months mot result! well not really! the guy told me that he'd had a slight altercation with the headlights plus the top cowl which would need to be replaced. fair enough. he told me that it ran great but he'd started to take the loom off to strip down and respray and all it'll need is a new battery and the loom reattaching and it'll start! well not really! firstly the loom is all over the place and wires disconnected and cut everywhere plus when i took the sprocket cover off, one of the sprocket housings on the engine had sheared of!!! plus theres a large chunk of the generator housing of the engine missing!! i could repair the damage as i can weld but not sure how long it'll last. does anyone know of a website for the wiring diagram? plus how easy (or hard) would it be to put a 1000cc engine in? could i still use the loom? any help is muchly appreciated chris
February 19, 200817 yr Unfortantly I'm still trying to locate a service manual for the FZR600. I do have the FZR400 the loom might be the same, take a look and see if it helps. http://www.files.pioneerx.co.uk/index.php?...torbike%20Files
