Hello Everybody,

Just joined today. I ride a 52 plate R1 but have a problem. I was going to go out for a ride today, but the bike wont start. The battery is fully charged but I have a fault code "11" on the dash which according to the Haynes manual is a camshaft sensor problem. Before I start stripping the bike down and swearing is there anything else I could do or check first? :D:pissed-off:

Hello Sailor. Welcome and good luck.

First thing to check is all of the wiring. Any loose joints, wear or even finding a disconnection, will help with this matter. It's doubtful the sensor has failed. Ask a Yami service agent what they think and how to test the sensor.
