apothecary_ljw
Hi there I am new to this forum and bikes in general. I bought a Yamaha YBR 125 last year which worked fine when I first got it. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances towards the end of last year I had to leave the bike locked up in the garage for about six months. I have kept the battery charged and the bike in good condition but when I tried to start it up to get out on the road again it just won't start. Either with the starter button or kick start.. Any idea's or pointers would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

Thanks my daughter had the same problem with her 125 so i took the plug off and with a hair dryer i warmed the plug and also the cylinder by blowing through the plug hole. it started without problems. now i start the buke atleast once a week and let it idle for 5-10 mins and since then never had the problem. hope this helps
