Badobsession Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Could be just broken or a wiring problem however if it is behaving erraticly be carefull as this often happens when the regulator/rectifier is on the way out. The standard yam part is not up to the job and the next part to go will almost certainly be the cdi unit if you leave it. An aftermarket heavy duty reg/rec is available for about 40 quid.
