Hi all

New to the forum, but an old biker !! If there are any other super tenere riders out there with a solution to the cr*p head lamps please, please, please tell me.

I have a 1991 super tenere with the old 35w twin lamps, I can't seem to get a upgrade on the lamps, i.e halogen. Is there a solution for this, can you mod any other head lamps to fit ?

Would be grateful to hear from anyone who has achieved a decent light sorce rather than relying on the candle power !!

Many thanks

Tony

You have an earthing problem or a dirty on-switch. Clean all of the earths and headlamp mountings first.

Don't think it's an earthing problem, I have 12v + at the spade ends through + & Earth, but these are really the old type round bulbs.

Thanks chaps I'll give the site a go.

Think the problem maybe resolved on the website given, all types of bulbs for the older bike.
