Posted January 21, 200817 yr Hi All Had my Xj since october and every time it rains the front brakes are crap, takes a good 5 to 8 seconds of pulling hard on the lever to clear the water off then and I now have to virtually ride with them on to keep em working when it rains, looked at the front wheel whilst going along the other day when it was raining and the water was being channelled onto the brake caliper by the mudguard, is this normal, if so is there anything i can do to solve it, get the fright of my life every time i try to use them (quite often on the A2 in rush hour) Rob
