Just bought my first Yamaha, a 96 YZF750R in red/white/black.

My previous bikes have all been kwacks or aprilias, 2x RS250's, a ZXR400 & a couple of ZX-6R's.

Any advice on maintaining the YZF, thigs to keep an eye on, upgrade etc... would be much appreciated.

Its currently got k&n air filters & ive just bought a used micron can for it off ebay but having read a few old magazine reviews on it ive found out a race can is a waste of money for the YZF exups, is this true??
