The electric starter on my YBR125 is not working. The Yamaha dealer has told me it is likely the brushes have gone, which will cost about £40 to replace plus £50 labour.

I thought I would have a go myself. Can anyone advise please where I might purchase the brushes and are there any YBR125 manuals available which would show me how to do the job.

There's a complete starter motor unit on ebay at the moment

for £50, might be worth a shot.
