Posted November 14, 200717 yr Hi I have just purchased a 1982 650 special. the problem is the side stand. The frame tubular frame the side stand is attached to is in need of strengthening. I would like some ideas of the best way to fix this . I really need the side stand as I find the bike a bit heavy to sit onto the main stand. Thanks grampy
