Hi all, can someone here tell me what size headlight bulb the 2007/2008 YZF R1 is.

    Hi just looked at Yamaha 2007 R1 owners manual, which is pretty useless (says there are 4 headlight bulbs that are each 55W)

    However from the illustration of the two terminal bulb I would guess they would be H7 types.

    Hopefully someone who has one of these bikes can confirm this for you

    The two main beam bulbs are definately standard H7 fitments - I just replaced them with better ones. However the two main beam bulbs have a larger fitment on the back and a standard H7 won't fit.

    Does anybody know if there's somesort of adaptor available?
