There is nothing else apart from replacing the head. The loss of fins will not make a big difference to the bikes performance as long as a fairing is not fitted. I'm not entirely sure but I do believe parts for the XJ600 are getting harder to come by as they don't make it anymore, not sure of the cost though, sorry!
