Hi!

I just got a 2nd handed Yamaha XJ600N but it has a problem in the engine (nothing that ruins the work, only estetectics).

Here is a photo of it...

Yes, just tidy the fins up with a small grinder. There is nothing else apart from replacing the head. The loss of fins will not make a big difference to the bikes performance as long as a fairing is not fitted.

How much does a engine head for the XJ600 cost ? Would it be easy to find ?

you can use luminweld rods to build up the fins. being that many it may take a while. you can get them from Frost.

I'm not entirely sure but I do believe parts for the XJ600 are getting harder to come by as they don't make it anymore, not sure of the cost though, sorry!
