I can't find a good picture on ine and haven't gotten a straight answer yet. What I want to know from those who have this color is if it has some kind of metallic purple or blue or reddish hues to it. It has been suggested to me that the color is more than just black and you have to get it in the sunlight to bring out the extra colors.

I am hopeing to buy a new FJR next year and would like to know just what the heck "Raven" is supposed to be, especially since the R6 came in a "Raven Edition".

I have a 08 R6S and its Raven in color. It does have little metallic flakes in it but very small. You wont even know unless you get really close and the sun is hitting it. The flakes seem to be just plain silver in color. I think its a nice color.
