arti46 Posted October 17, 2007 Share Posted October 17, 2007 Hi all, having recently bought my first yam (in bits) am now attempting to restore it, my first query is how best to paint the steel tubed frame, I've heard powder coating is very good, can anyone recommend this and if so, how best should I prep the frame? removing the old paint uncovered some bad pitting and rust, would using KURUST or a similar product to treat rust be ok before powder coating.
