Help my R6R EXUP problem!

Hi, I'm new to this and trust me, my two finger typing is taking some time!

I have just bought a 2006 R6R and love it. The previous owner had a race can fitted and subsequently removed the EXUP cables.

Now I have the bike and the original can is back on, I need some advice on re-fitting the EXUP cables.

I have re-installed the cables so the valve rotates in an anti clockwise direction when the rpm's increase and then clockwise when they decrease, is this the correct operating direction?
