fazedout Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 My clutch was nearly worn out so I decided to change it - seemed pretty easy but now it is back together I have loads of clutch but will not release fully - ie with clutch pulled it is still trying to drive. I have given it maximum adjustment but to no avail. I've disassembled and reassembled to check all was as I dismantled and nothing bent or twisted and seems ok. I do not know the torque settings for the clutch cover (the bolts with the springs) and they seem to want to keep turning but I'm worried about overdoing it. Any ideas please?
