Greetings:

While my '92 XT225 is having an new head, valves and piston replaced (ouch!) I noticed that the rear shock is just a big spring. The mechanic said he'd replace it for free if I brought in the rear Monoshock. The dealer wants almost $300 for one shock! (I'm not really shocked.)

Can someone recommend a more economical monoshock for my XT225? I believe many non-Yammy shocks would work fine. The "eye to Clevis bolt hole dimension" is 15"

Thanks,

Kevin
