Right dad got his FJ1100 today and we are goin to give it a good service ie oil, filter air filter, plugs etc.

What spark plugs and oil do you recomend???

Check the NGK site for it's recommendation, and somewhere like the Castrol site for the oil application.

As a thought, unless you know for certain, don't put synthetic oil in it. It will try to scavenge out any other oils deposits and dirt. Always use a good quality mineral oil of the correct grade.

Deffo use mineral oil, if you use synthetic or semi synthetic you will get clutch slip as the FJ runs a wet clutch and synthetics are too slippery, if that makes sense.

I don't know were abouts you are but the FJ owners recomend Morris Ringfree, look here

G,day Adam. Just wondering about synthetic oil in a '95 tt 600 s Belgarda.Although this is a dry sump will it also make the clutch slip??

Spark plugs DP8EA-9

I use Castrol 20w50 in my FJ1200, normal dino oil, this engine does not rev that hi.

U get clutch slip if U change the oil type
