I have an imported 03 plate fjr1300, at low revs and speed it becomes jerky coming on and off the throttle, some time ago I read about this and it had something to do with the bikes being recalled by Yamaha to the dealers for a quick fix. anyone know about this and can tall me more about it??? <_<

Loose chain?

Not as Loose as your marbles, country boy!!!

Okay.

Stop it you two!

There is bound to be some torque reaction to the throttle movement-naturally. Is that the case? You should not be at low revs and low speed as you must be in the wrong gear.

There was a recall for the FJR regarding the TPS (Throtle Position sensor) this sounds like your problem. I would phone yamaha with your frame number and check that its been done.

At last managed to get through to Yamaha UK, they have confirmed that my bike had not been in for the recall. Now making arrangements to take it to my dealer to get it fixed.

Thanks to most. cheers. :offtopic:
