ive just bought a brand new dtx 125 (supermoto) and i need to know how to de-restrict it, is there anything different from the older models, as it has digital clock and im not sure about it having a powervalve.

Remove rubber airbox snorkel which you will find under the seat. Have exhaust system completely gutted out or invest in a DEP exhaust system. Go up two sizes on the main jet and you're set.

hi dtxracer i have just bought a dt125x..& have fitted d.e.p. exhust system modified airbox,ignition retard disabled(allows powervalve to open fully)iridium sparkplug,15 tooth gearbox sprocket..hope this helps alza

There's word of a green wire behind the clock surround which needs earthing. Think that could be what he means.

Oh right thanks, yea i've seen posts about that on the internet, anyone got any info on how and where best to earth this wire ? or if it even works doing this ? Any help would be really appreciated

Earth it anywhere metal. Frame would be a good spot if you can find somewhere.
