I'm looking for a new or like new carburator for this bike. I tried rebuilding mine and ended up with discontinued jets at the store and the float valve lets the gas leak right into the air filter.....I'm getting a little pissed. I realise I could adjust the floats tabs and find the jet but if I take that damn thing apart one more time and can find a cheap carb I may just buy it...

Man it's hard to get that carb out even after removing the scews to the air box fitler...

Any suggestions on carbs and an easier way to remove them?

I know the problem. I usually end up removing the inlet stubs with the carbs, but there's a danger of danaging the o-ring seals there, so be careful.

Another option which I haven't tried yet is to remove the upper engine brackets. This allows the engine to move slightly forwards.
