I have a 2000 V Star 1100 Classic. Just recently the regulator/rectifier overheated and melted part of the connector/plug in on the bike wiring. Does anyone knoe where I can find another connector/plug? It also metled the plastic where the regulator/rectifier is mounted. Any suggestions on relocation, mounting alternatives, etc?

Thanks

Before you re-assemble the plug and wiring, you should take a look at what caused the failure in the first place. it has failed under heavy load which means that another component is drawing too much current.

Dont risk a fire.
