Posted June 25, 200718 yr Hello there! I am a proud owner of a 1985 Yamaha Maxim XJ700. I found a carburetor (desperately needed) for a slightly different model bike, XJ750. Will this carb work on my bike ? I have tried to give a look to the excellent parts manual on the Yamaha web site and the differences seem to be minimal......on the parts codes which are most of the time the same. Any help please would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much! Marco
