Posted June 21, 200717 yr I have power to the headlight fuse but nothing at the headlight. Is there something in between that could be malfunctioning? All other lights work. I can 't find a wiring diagram. Any ideas how to diagnose this problem?
June 21, 200717 yr Does it have a headlight switch? If not there is most likely a relay that powers up the headlamp when the engine reaches certain revs...like 800 or so. this si to stop battery drain prior to starting the motor.
June 22, 200717 yr Author No, it does not have a switch, there must be a relay then, but I don't know how to find it. I direct wired to the headlight from the fuse and it works again. It still starts OK, hope it doesn't cause any other problems. Thanks for your help!
