Posted June 14, 200718 yr i posted on here that my dtr had an oil leak and i couldnt tell whaere it was coming from. well i cleaned my bike till it was spotless, took it out for a ride and iv discovered that oil is being blown from some kind of breather on top of the engine. what is this breather and how can i stop it doing this?!!!! any help much appreciated :-)
June 21, 200718 yr Breather on top of the engine. Well........posting a pic would be most useful. Where does this breather exit? Under the engine? Could it be the airbox drain hose? Has the air filter been over oiled?
June 22, 200718 yr it sounds like its comming from the airbox drain hose. when i first got into motors i had a closed airbox and oil was laeking from the drain hose and it was as simple as puling the plug and empting it... pics would be nice if it ends up not being the airbox
