Posted June 5, 200717 yr Alreet folks. I've heard a few reports lately sayin that there's a restrictor plate of some kind in the 06/07 R6. Anyone know anything about this and if it's worth removing if it is there? Cheers
June 5, 200717 yr It is true it is just a plate on the bottom of the air filter. If you take it out of the air box all you have to do is pop off the rivets and the plate will come apart. Apparently its a non reversible mod though. Regards

June 6, 200717 yr Depends because some of them come with the restrictor plate as well. If you can see what looks like an oval on the bottom of the air filter it is on still. Basically the filter should look the same shape and size both top and bottom. Regards
