hi all could someone plz tell me

ok i have a yamaha xt 400 1993 model no spark

from the engine

there are 3 white wires running to regulator with a feed back to battery,

there is also 2 other wires coming from engine should these provide spark to cdi?? for timing or just one of them ??or do you have to earth 1 or put a live to 1 to get it to produce power as they seem dead

any info or help would be nice thanks Question Rolling Eyes

ps also if they should produce power what do i need to fix and about how much will it cost for parts to sort out ??

The three white wires will be the three phase AC from the generator. They go to the reg/rec which charges the battery. Nothing to do with the ignition.

The other two will be from the ignition pickup coil, and should connect to the CDI to trigger the spark.
