Situation: I pulled apart my left crankcase on my '92 Yamaha Virago VX1100 to replace my starter clutch.

Problem: The bolts are several different lengths and I don't remember which go where. So I guessed and used the Cylmer manual to determine the torque settings. It said 10M=28lbs & 6M=7lbs. I guessed that the longer bolts where 10M. So I tourqed the 1st one and it busted. So that one must have been the 6M=7lbs. I guess. I was able too remove the busted bolt.

Questions: Does anyone know which bolts go where on the left side crankcase? Which are 10M vs 6M? I don't know what that means.
