Posted May 24, 200717 yr I have a XS 400 E 1978, running pretty well. It has a Mikuni carburettor. I am thinking of buying a carburettor of 1981 XS 400 Speical. Is there any difference between these two, it look like both the bikes have same carburettors. Hope it will fit on 1978 XS 400. Invites your advise. John
