Posted May 22, 200718 yr hey there! Recently I've bought a stolen/recovered 2003 DT 125 so my girlfriend could come green laning with me. The bike was in bits, I put it back together minus most of the wiring for the lights etc. I bought and connected a pre 92 CDI unit, opened power valve on full, managed to get it started but then dies after a few minutes. Just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be? I've tried a different carb off a pre 92 just incase it was set up different, still doesnt solve the problem. Do I need to adjust the carb at all? Many thanks!
May 23, 200718 yr Just go over the usual checks (Spark plug, check it's getting fuel, floats aren't sticking etc).
