well i bought a spotless 1998 XJ 600S Diversion from a man in the middleands. However, when his mate was delivering it he crashed it at low speed on a diesel patch. now the fairing is completely ruined with BIG cracks and scratches. .

i am now looking for a replacement fairing and have come across a few earlier model fairings going second hand for good prices. i am wondering whether or not these will fit my bike? the fairing i am looking at buying is from a 1994 model whereas mine is a 1998.

Can anyone help me?

that's the worst thing, no refund, no money back. "you're problem now mate" type of thing. utter W**KER.

fortunately the rest of the bike is ok, needs a few extra bits, mirror, indicator etc. but the real problem is getting hold of a fairing. new they are £350 but i'm just not prepared to spend that much on it.

Go to the Yamaha Diversion Owners Forum, Sparkey. They might be able to point you in the right direction.
