Well guys just thought I'd let you know that my R6 dream ended on Thursday around 13.30. I turned into a side road from the main I'd just been on, went passed a van (which I thought was parked up) that then moved out and side swept me into a parked car the other side of that road. Bike looks like it will be written off but don't know yet as I was carted of in the back of an ambulance.

I don't know what hurts more my injuries which aren't that bad to be honest or the void in my life where my bike was.

Regards

Shit! Sorry to hear that Robbie! But you're here to tell the tale.....it could have been worse.

best regards

Tom

Cheers guys. Unfortunately looks like the bike is going to be written off as according to the police there was oil and petrol all over the road. I havn't seen the bike yet but hopefully ill be able to salvage some stuff off of it.

Sincere regards Robbie!

glad to hear you're OK though....

Salvage as many leftover bits from the R6 as you can....

Ya never know what kinda contacts you'll run across whilst selling 'em......maybe a good deal on another R6? :thumb:

Sorry to hear that.. did you speak sternly to white van man and expalin what his mirrors and a shoulder check are for

Was carted off in an ambulance so don't even know what the bloke looks like. If I was able to talk to him at the time I would be up for actual bodily harm or manslaughter now anyway.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I am in a similar position at the moment, 29th April I was knocked off my Fazer600 by an old fella in an escort. My bike is at home, but now waiting on insurance to pull their fingers out. I was carted off in ambulance as well, luckily only broken wrist, foot, whiplash and a bit of nerve damage. It is so sad when the bike you love gets hurt through no fault of your own. Hopefully you will be able to replace it with one just as good. Keep your chin up, you are still here to tell the tale.

Best wishes,

Sandra

I came off mine a few weeks ago but luckily wasnt hurt- all my own fault.

Slowly riding round a slip road I hit gravel and down I went. If I had been riding hard I wouldnt have been in the middle of the lane where the shit was

Bike and me are back on the road but it also takes a bit of time to stop thinking and get back on with riding

Sorry to hear that!

You are ok that is the main thing, i know that doesnt seem like much when your bike is a mangled mess but keep your chin up you will be back on two wheels before you know it im sure!
