joe4g63
I just recently tore the carbs apart and cleaned them up. When we reassembled them and installed them on the bike we were kind a confused about the vacuum line that connects to the piece between the carb and the engine. When we took the carbs off the right carb had a vacuum line attached but not going to anything, and the left carb had a vacuum plug on it. Now it does run with that set up but after about 5 minutes of riding it just dies, then after kicking it about a million times it starts up again but only stays running with the throttle fully open, and the engine is only at idle speed with the throttle wide open. apathetic
on my xs360 the right one has a tube plugged with a screw and the left one goes to the petcock (vacuum operated...) i dont believe it makes a difference which one goes to the petcock i do believe at least one has to go to the petcock the other should be plugged otherwise i believe that cylinder would get a leaner mixture than the other
joe4g63
Okay that makes some sense, that one that had a vacuum line on it was long enough to fit up to the petcock. I will check that out, thanks for the help.
