My yamaha 1100 sat for two years ( don't ask <G>) and would start ok with choke out but wouldn't run if I tried to accelerate. Ran some carb cleaner through it, drained gas and put in new gas and now it won't start at all. Someone suggested it might have an airlock keeping gas from getting into the carb.

Question: what is the best/easiest method of correcting this.

Thanks in advance

Jerry

Take the carbs out and strip and clean them.

If you need more details on how to do it, get back to us.

(which model/year of 1100 is it?)
