I have a xs250se-does anyone know what purpose the balancer pipe that links the 2 exhausts is for & if this pipe was taken out & blanked off would it affect the running too much?

    I think it was for audilble purposes as the silencers are shorter than my model

    I have the same engine and have no balancer pipe.
