I've just traded my R1 for an FZ1, hoping to do a track day or two on it but not sure how it'll cope. Anyone out there been on track with one?

I remember a guy on another forum suffering serious injuries on a trackday on an FZ1 a few years ago....centre stand dug in if I remember correctly.

Thank you for that! Anyone with positive experiences?? Im getting the unfaired one without the centre stand so at least that can't make me crash!

Visit yamahafz1oa.com (usa) several members have had track days, mod maven Lars in Denmark, Aussies, and North Americans. Weak point is rear shock but is strong enough for a change, as are springs.
