run25duck
Stall problem, can anybody tell me how to fix this. I have a 2-year old Fazer 600. Daily commute takes me five miles on local roads, then fifteen miles on motorway, then, after five or ten miles in London traffic it starts miss-firing, stalls and/or needs loads of revs to get away from lights. Have found that if i stop, turn off and restart, then the problem goes away, and the engine runs normally. But this doesn't happen every time. Willenium
You tried cleaning out the air filter and running some Redex?
Moderator YamaHead Posted April 11, 2007 Moderator Share Posted April 11, 2007 Air filter would be a likely culprit.... But it could be that the carbs just need a good cleaning.....particularly the Pilot Jets
kendo phil
Does it run carbs or fuel injection? If it fuel injection I could write a paper on what goes wrong with it!
Nathan Finkel
Sounds like a heat problem, if it's doing that through traffic? Is it air or liquid cooled?
