i sorterd my other problem out on my bike, now i have petrol at the bottom end of my engine were the piston rod is, should it be there:s

There should be some but not excessive amounts.

There is a lot there, i did my barrel gasket and i took eampyd the petrol from there and i started it up tickd over for abouts 5 mins then cut out and didnt start again ( alot of smoke as well )

Strip your carb and check the floats are intact and not sticking open. Sounds to me like something is causing it to flood the engine.

sorry took ages too write back had internet problems, i chekd by carb took it apart looks ok could there be anything ele thank you very much. tom
