April 1, 200718 yr I have a 1988 yamaha 1300cc venture and the clutch slips when I give it full throttle the bike has 63000 miles check an make sure the clutch cable is well lubed and adjusted correctly and you have the right grade of engine oil an if that fails it down to you clutch springs being week or your clutch is worn
April 1, 200718 yr with 63Kon the clock, most likely culprit is worn clutch plates. Check the thickness against the service limits. But do the oil level and clutch cable adjustment first. Paul
