Posted March 29, 200718 yr Guys, I was just image google'ing FZ1 and I saw the bike as a naked bike, it looks kinda like a bmw k1200r. Whats with this? Every Dealer has the bike with the body kit which is nothing like this bike, I cant find this bike anywhere. They are named the same FZ1 Can someone explain this to me, Im not too familiar with yamaha's yet.
April 25, 200718 yr In europe there is a naked FZ1, Faired bike is Fazer, or other way round. Someone on yamahafz1oa.com (usa) was selling Canadian? euro kit for FZ1 conversion.

Quite right, the FZ1 is the naked version and the Fazer is the half faired one. I've just bought an FZ1 and it is a glorious bike, feels lighter and more aggresive than the faired version, lots of fun!
