Newbie with a Yamaha Chappy/LB80 80 (72cc according to head stamp)

Does anyone know where I can find how to decode the VIN so that I know what Year & Model it is?

I'd like to get a maintanance manual for it & knowing what i have would be helpful.

VIN begins with 2F7-***

It has an automatic transmission; high & Low option.

    If anyone might be interested I found out 2F7 was the key to the puzzle.

    1978 LB80IIAE or may be listed as LB80-2AE
