Posted March 17, 200718 yr Help !! I have been given a non running 1993 XTZ660 3YF which I was told only needed a cdi unit, regulator/rectifier and a coil. After purchasing these items on e-bay, I realised there is a zenna diode in the place where the regulator/rectifier goes. There is no record of this diode in the Yamaha service manual. Is it just the case of taking this off and replacing it with the new regulator/rectifier or would the diode work with the new cdi unit
