Robbie Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Hi guys seen that on bikes that are used for racing and track days that people have put the suspension forks through the yokes in order to lower the front end - what benefits and disadvantages does this give the bike as im looking for more cheap mods to do to the bike. Regards

Robbie Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 cheers for the swift reply. Would you recommend doing it or is it not worth it.
chrisw Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 What model R6 have you got ... I assume that's the bike we're talking about !
chrisw Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 On a 2000 I wouldn't drop them if your using it on the road. The front is known for it's tank slappers anyway (never owned one so don;t know how bad) and droping the yokes will only worsen that. 2003 - 2005 you can drop them a few mm without affecting the stability too much yetget a noticable difference
