I have a 99 R6 and the temperature when out on a clear run maintains a steady 82 Deg C however as soon as soon as i enter my towns disastrous one way system the temperature soars up withyin a matter a a minute or so. I have only just bought the bike and am unaware if this is the norm or wheather i have a problem somewhere. Thanks all

Around 80 degrees is about right for the open road on a warm day, mine at the moment stays around the 70 mark. In towns the temperature can usually get as high as about 110. The good thing with the display is that it tells you if the engine is too hot.

Regards
