Hello to everyone,just wondering for some of your coments .I looking to buy a new bike very soon and i`m looking at the fazer1000 or the new 1250 bandit i`m having trouble in choosing my next bike PLEASE HELP me and my wife want to beable to just jump on a bike and ride .We are both a little short in the legs so most bikes are out and i suffer from a bad back so no sports bikes just need a good comfortable bike

Unfortunately I can't help as I've never ridden either bike. I'd hazard a guess that the Fazer is definitely a better quality bike and certainly more modern but I'd wangle a test ride on both if I was you.

Either that or you could buy a new R1.

i found the fazer to be quite tall, but that was the 600 version. remember there are seat height adjusters available
