Afternoon all,

Anyone knows where my ecu is? Taken the seat an fuel tank off, shifting through wires an i still cant see it. Know im blind at the best of times but cant find any information online for where it is.

often somewhere near the battery box.... my bikes have been 30 yrs old though lol, the ECU needs power so it is likely to be connected to the battery by a red wire.

I ended up taking the battery out and noticed something, so i took out the battery box and it was completely wedged behind it, i couldnt see it initially with the the cables from battery, relays etc. Was very suprised as it has two holes that looks like it can be bolted through but it was just wedged in…? Wondering if thats a prior owner… oh well found it now, off to motomatrix for testing

they don't often go wrong in my experience although it makes a difference i believe if a bike has been left out in cold and damp conditions, vibration and age take their toll too I suppose.
