Hello Mate

Why bother keeping it standard ?

Just tape the letters up then repair it. the majority of the welding or patch work (depending on how you are repairing it) will be on the back. When you come to paint it shouldn't be a problem then unpeal it ready for the laquer so there are no problems.

Have done this to all the bikes Ive had to repair at work due to customers not wanting to pay the extra for new decals.

Just take the part to a place which do vinyl graphics they can just recreate it... would only cost £15-20

Or as previously said you may be able to get away with just some good masking

Hello mate,

Thank you all for the tips, and, I sorry to replay now.

What I really need it´s the two letter’s of YAMAHA text, because, I have to remove the letter YA.

Steve and Robbie

I made the letters using two software’s, Rhinoceros (similar to the AutoCAD), and Corel Draw.

Thanks for the tip, but the owner wants the original letters. I tried.

Drewpy

Very good site thanks.

Alexasigno

I made the letters and print in vinyl, for free, in the place were I usually made my prints.

I add two images for all see, I only repair with fiber, don’t paint.
