Hi all,

iv got a 2001 R1 with a harris high rise race can fitted on it, but it still has the standard headers with the exup valve

.

I have seen some micron full race headers and link pipe for sale that i would like to buy, but im not sure my can would fit as it has a long link pipe on it (a kind of `S` bend that harris do to make it a high rise)

I was thinking of taking the exup valve out to save me buying race headers, would that make any differance?

Has aynone taken the exup valve out of the bike, if so what differance did it make?

My bike has been dyno jetted and has a K&N filter fitted, on a dyno run it made 151 bhp on the crank and 138 on the back wheel, would any of the above make any differance to the bhp or the way it runs?

Any input would be very useful to me, thanks, Tony
